A Daley framework. It names something already true about the assessment work you're doing — one body of faculty work serves three different frameworks.
The connections exist on paper. Translation, not restructuring. What this workshop does is let you trace your own course through that chain — once, with a real assessment.
A few things faculty often think about assessment that aren't quite right.
The internal cycle has four forms. Each answers one question about an assessment.
Form 1 states what will be assessed and how. Form 2 reports what happened. Form 3A documents what changed. Form 3B closes the loop — does the change work? Most faculty know one or two of these forms exist. Fewer have walked the full cycle. The activity ahead is for one assessment — start to finish.
Daley's Alignment Repository (November 2025) collects the mappings each department reported for their own courses — CSLO → DSLO/PSLO → ISLO. The mappings reflect each department's own articulation of how their courses connect to institutional outcomes. When you pick your course in the activity, the walkthrough pulls that mapping for you. Your CSLO statement is what bridges your assessment to the rest of the chain.
The four forms exist because of a letter. Today they answer it — automatically.
